Venezuela-born, Barcelona-based artist Luis Garban debuts his new Safety Trance alias on Boysnoize Records. His Noches de Terror EP expertly collides menacing industrial, EBM and left-field reggaeton to reveal a soundtrack for uncertain times with a guest feature from global star Arca.

Garban is best known as Cardopusher and has spent the last decade creating noise-driven club disruptions. He began experimenting with mutating a rowdy, old school reggaeton sound for this new
alias, which was the foundation of much of his upbringing in Caracas in the mid to late 90s. In response to and in resistance to the polished sound of the genre today, Safety Trance incorporated industrial and EBM references from the likes of Chris & Cosey, Smersh, Psychic TV, Skinny Puppy, and Nitzer Ebb and mixed it with the old school sound of artists like DJ Blass, Ivy Queen, Don
Chezina and Baby Rasta & Gringo to name a few. The results range from energetic dance floor imaginings to warped, broken beat textures.
